Dr. Joshi got his M.B.B.S degree from R.N.T  Medical College and hospital Udaipur Rajasthan and did his M.D. in Dermatology Venereology and Leprosy from Medical college and hospital Rohtak, Haryana, India.

He went to England in 1979 where he attained further post graduation qualifications in Dermatology, Venereology & tropical medicine. He gained wide experience in U.K. by working as a registrar, Senior Registrar and Consultant in Dermatology. He also had an opportunity to hold a position as a Consultant and Head of department of Dermatology  at a tertiary hospital, The Armed Forces Hospital in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. He is a visiting consultant at the Queen Elizebeth Hospital Kingslynn, England.
